Hi @Selven — sorry to hear about the trouble you’re running into, and thanks for sharing the context.
From what you’ve described, this might be related to a known issue. Could you confirm if any of the fields — especially the formula field — had its type modified after the Excel import?
If so, here’s a workaround that may help:
• Manually create the table and all necessary fields first.
• Then use incremental import (instead of letting the system auto-create fields) to bring in your Excel data.
Please see the screenshot below for reference.
Let us know if that works for you — and feel free to share a screenshot or error log if the issue happens again. We’re here to help!
It was an imported Xcel file but then all I did was add a formula. It never wants to run it and bugs out with the error I shared
Sorry for the trouble — this is a known issue. Have you tried manually creating the fields first (including any formulas), and then using incremental import to bring in the data?
This usually works better than importing the entire Excel file all at once.
Hi @Selven
Sorry for the inconvenience caused. The issue has now been fixed. Please refresh the page and try adding the ‘formula’ field again to see if it works properly. If you encounter any further issues, please let us know. Thank you!
Wow it works! And fast too! Thanks so much! Now I just have to wait for the “View” function to launch
