To support file attachments for outbound emails natively via the ‘Send Email’ automation module, without requiring work arounds.

You’re absolutely right—currently, our native email automation only sends attachments as URLs, and changing the email format to HTML won’t convert them into physical files. I have submitted this feature request to our product team for review.
Temporary Workaround:
As a workaround, you can use automation tools like Make or Zapier. By setting up an AITable trigger, you can pass the file data to these platforms and use their native email modules to send out the physical attachments.
