**Issues with Filter Compatibility and Formula Limitations in Bika Compared to AITable**

  1. The values set in view > edit > filter do not work compatibly with those set in the menu bar filter.
This causes issues when configuring dashboards and when creating mirror views.
As a result, both filters have to be set separately each time.
  1. When using formulas, fields brought in as single select do not apply properly.
For example, in the case of COUNTIF, only text values are processed by the function.
If you bring in a single select value using lookup, the function doesn’t work.

It would be great if filters could be applied to lookup data and dashboards — just like in AITable.

Hi @Headchef.Yang, thanks for the detailed feedback.

Bika.ai and AITable take different approaches. In AITable, the top-bar filter is persistent; in Bika.ai, it’s session-only so teammates can run ad-hoc searches without affecting others.

If you need a filter that persists for dashboards, mirrored views, or shared links, please set it inside the view. The toolbar filter resets on refresh.

In the dashboard you shared, the view had no saved filter, so it displayed all records. Once you save the filter in the view, the numbers in the dashboard will update accordingly.

We’re also reproducing the COUNTIF + single-select lookup issue and will follow up once we have more details.

Hope this helps, feel free to reach out if you have more questions.
