Instead of scrolling through pages, have the option to key in a page number
If I increase page density to 1000 the page bounces and cannot load. then I have to scroll with many drags to get to the bottom to be able to click to the next page. If I could type in the page number I could navigate through.

Just checking — have you tried using the > and >| buttons to switch pages? I tested with 1,000 rows and didn’t need to scroll down to move to the next page, though behavior might vary by browser or dataset size.
Still, your idea for a direct page input makes total sense — I’ve passed it to our product team for consideration.
