Unable to Create New Record on Mirror

Hi,

There is an issue adding new record when the mirror type is Independent View. The feature was working weeks ago. Now, It will just show the loading indicator.

Replication is very simple:

  1. Create a database
  2. Create a mirror with type Independent View
  3. Click the new record

Hi @carloginocatapang, thanks for flagging this! We tested Independent View on our side and it’s working at the moment.

To help pinpoint it, could you share:

  • Is this database newly created or did you recently import data？
  • Current record count？
  • Any complex fields (formulas, lookups, rollups, mirrored relations)?
  • After a hard refresh, does New record still hang?

If it still spins, a quick console error message (if any) would help us narrow it down.

The database is as simple as it can get.

Check the attached recording which is similar to my replication step:

When I change to not an independent view it will just work:

As per console messages, after clicking the create new button, there is no additional log(or even network request)

Please advise. Thanks.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. We’re actively working to fix this issue and will notify you as soon as it’s resolved.
Note:
Before the fix is released, you can add new records by clicking the “New record” button in the view toolbar
